Botswana’s famous Chobe National Park is a must-see wildlife destination that includes the Savute Channel and natural beauty of the Linyanti River. Chobe covers almost 11 000 km² (6 836 square miles), was the country’s first national park and boasts the biggest concentration of wildlife in Africa. But it is best known for its large numbers of Kalahari elephants, probably the biggest continuous elephant population in the world, currently numbering around 120 000.

Savute

After breakfast, road transfer to Kasane International Airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Savute Airstrip then a game drive transfer to Savute Safari Lodge.

The Savute Safari Lodge sprawls in the shade of acacia camel thorn trees on the edge of the Savute Channel. Here, guests can unwind in a gorgeous suite and experience a wonderful selection of game viewing adventures. Each suite offers a private veranda, combined bedroom and sitting room, and an ensuite bathroom. Guest can tuck into mouth-watering meals served al fresco on the spacious viewing deck, which faces a waterhole, and sip on their favourite concoctions at the welcoming cocktail bar. A comfortable sitting room, library and swimming pool add to guest delight.

Moremi

After breakfast, game drive transfer to Savute Airstripfor your scheduled light aircraft flight to Xakanaxa Airstrip then a game drive transfer to Camp Moremi or Camp Xakanaxa.

The only proclaimed wildlife reserve in the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve is also widely regarded as the most beautiful. Moremi Game Reserve has the most diverse habitat and animal populations in Botswana. The reserve contains about a quarter of the Okavango Delta and stretches across several thousand square kilometres, comprising a stunning landscape of forests, lagoons, floodplains and islands. Game viewing is excellent year-round and resident species include lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, wild dog, zebra, red lechwe and many more.

The superlative Camp Moremi is raised high above the ground, overlooking the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon in the eastern Okavango Delta. This spectacular lodge offers its guests exhilarating wildlife adventures, as well as fine accommodation and superb menus. Guests can relax in the comfort of an East African-style safari tent, which is raised on a teak platform, providing mesmerising views of the lodge’s surrounds. Each tent has its own viewing deck and an adjacent private bathroom.

Okavango Delta

After breakfast, game drive transfer to Xakanaxa Airstrip for yourscheduled light aircraft flight to Xugana Airstrip or Camp Okavango Airstrip then a boat or road transfer to Xugana Island Lodge or Camp Okavango.

The Okavango Delta is the world’s largest inland delta and a miracle of nature. This paradisiacal oasis of islands and waterways flowers in the middle of the arid Kalahari Desert. Most visitors to Botswana rate the Okavango Delta as the highlight of their trip and it is not hard to see why – in terms of pristine beauty, remote location, and rich diversity of animal and bird life, the Okavango Delta is unbeatable.

Asecluded bird viewing hide and a sun deck with an inviting plunge pool offer quiet opportunities for relaxation. Guests can also laze in shaded hammocks or watch game from the elevated observation platform, with its views of the tranquil floodplains.
